I wanted to write this review to help those who are asking if the duvet design or print is showing on the inside. If you choose a darker color the answer is no - you CANNOT see through it. I can't speak for white or a lighter color. This quilt features an aged brown and burgundy floral pattern. It's not visible at all! Also a little tip. If you don't have ties on the blanket. Cut the long ribbon/tie strip into strips approximately 3" long and sew (hand or machine) diagonally to the corners of the lining (original quilt). TA Dah! Now you have something to tie the duvet ties to. I am very happy with this purchase and it is wrinkle free and soft. Machine washed and dried, it turned out, as in the package - it does not shed. It's great not fighting wrinkles! Please note that this is a type of shiny (not super shiny) silk blouse fabric. Another reason I went for this ruffled option is because my old comforter has some ugly embroidery stains and the ruffled feel distracts from those areas and hides everything well. The color is exactly as advertised. I am happy with this purchase.
