I was a big fan of the blue buffalo. Then I received a package that caused all my dogs to have runny bowels. I called the company and was basically blown away. If you have four dogs with uncontrollable loose stools, at least be a little compassionate. And I'm convinced it was dog food. After her guts returned to normal, I tried the food again and the same thing happened. That's why I stopped using Blue Buffalo. Well some of my older dogs are gaining weight and this seems to have helped with the weight gain. I heard that they have improved their quality control system and maybe their customer relationship has improved. Now the product is being used again and the weight seems to be under control. Dogs seem to love it and it's a good product. I don't just feed my dogs dry food. I add veggies as well as some healthy seeds or freshly cooked chicken. I firmly believe that there is no perfect dry dog food that provides all the nutrients. However, it's okay if you're trying to get your dog to lose weight.
