Creates a convenient spot for a safety razor. Sticks to my smooth glass shower door but not the tiled wall which is just smooth and not super shiny. Requires an occasional cleaning unless you give the razor a very thorough cleaning before hanging it back, but dries well and doesn't get moldy. If you don't plan on sticking this to glass or a mirror, this may not work for you. EDIT: I finally gave up because it fell off intermittently even on smooth glass and repeated drops broke my razor where the handle attaches. It could be that the long-handled safety razor is too heavy for it, or that the suction power is actually not good enough. If you need something to stick with in the shower I would recommend the Command Bath Strips instead.
