The good news is that it works with GoPro Hero 5 Black cameras. I currently have it synced to 6 cameras. The problem is that the synthesizer sometimes gets lost or doesn't reach all the cameras when it's a little further than 5 meters (about 15 feet) away. This is especially annoying when taking pictures. So in these cases I use time-lapse photography to give myself enough time to get out of the way. UPDATE: Works better and I was able to connect up to 60ft away (didn't try/measure further). For some strange reason I sometimes lose sync with one or all of my cameras and can't reconnect until I sync them all again. Cameras causing the problem. The connection doesn't always drop, but I do give a few extra minutes before a session to ensure all cameras are properly synced. Everything else is fine. I am very happy with the results. I might get a newer version with the next batch of cameras and see if it performs better. Update: What I find extremely helpful is the velcro strap for the remote control. This makes it much easier to manage all the cameras I need. After a year of use, I consider it a very valuable tool. I have adjusted my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I can't give it 5 stars because syncing with newer cameras can be annoying as it doesn't always work on the first, second, or even fifth try. My remote came in an OEM package with a waterproof case for the Hero 3+/4 camera. . It's all in my studio in South America, so I couldn't take any photos. And the two metal buttons for the remote control are there too, but there were 2 of them (are not here). I didn't connect any of the gopros in the picture.
