Review on NavePoint Cat6 (CCA) Computer Accessories & Peripherals for Cables & Interconnects by James Eledge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Let's face it, this is a cheap brand and it works great.

As with all the mixed reviews, some say they've tried it in wall installations, others say they've used it for commissioned work. I've seen terrible reviews and others say great. Keep in mind that this is NOT pure copper. Basically, it is a cheap Cat6 cable that masters many installation situations. Let's face it, if I'm doing commissioned work for a company, there's no way I'm going to spend $40 on this cable box if they have a backbone or high demand. How much do we charge you, 500? Quite possibly, and then I go out and want to splurge a bit on cable? That just sounds like a really bad idea to me. Do you do the wiring in your house, at friends' house or in an apartment building? Of course, I see no problem in saving costs for you and the consumer. So let's be honest how much do we expect from a product that is 2-5 times more expensive at the moment as I just looked at it. how this product compares to different brands. It's like buying a generic drug for a wedding, isn't it? A good idea for sure, maybe not. I have about 400 feet in my house now, I'm fine with that; I have never had any problems. It fits perfectly into Cat6 connectors and makes me feel like I have more bandwidth than I need.

Pros
  • Ethernet cable
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
