I've waited to wear them a few times before posting this review to make it more accurate! Ratings straight out of the box don't matter much in my opinion. My doctor advised me to buy compression stockings, so I ordered several brands. Received these first and immediately washed and worn them (I washed them in a laundry bag on the gentle cycle and hung them to dry - they dried quickly). They were easy to put on and very comfortable. They did not cling to knowledge and did not shrink. The sock is thinner and very comfortable in both clogs and sneakers. I have wide feet and toeroom is a problem for me. Since I've been wearing them, my varicose veins haven't hurt or swelled - they do their job well and silently. I speak softly because I honestly don't remember wearing them - they're so comfortable I put them on and forgot about them - just like socks should be! I love them so much that I immediately ordered more pairs. They have surpassed other brands that I have ordered in terms of comfort and fit.
