We have (and have had) several different Bluetooth devices to hear sound from the TV. Over-the-ear, on-ear, small in-ear headphones, and another "neck" device like this one. On-ear/on-ear headphones press on the temples of people who wear glasses and hurt after a while. The headphones appear to be strictly for use with a phone or other device with a volume control. The ones we have fit and work great, but unfortunately something about Netflix will blow your ears and something about network programming or, say, Hallmark, just a little loud. (The TV-out doesn't have a volume control - you get what you get.) I've found that these neckband devices have a volume control, so this seemed like the perfect solution. Unfortunately, the first neckband device ordered was a failure. There will be a pair and will work fine. But after turning it off, the connection was not automatically reconnected and there is no sound when reconnecting. Returned. (Thanks, Revain) Decided not to give up and ordered these. Arrived almost fully charged. Decent instructions (still a mouse type, but that seems to be the norm these days). Connects easily. Good sound and volume controls balance it all out (no more ears on Netflix). Battery life is good as I used them for 9 or 10 hours over three evenings and they still worked. The stated lifespan indicates that charging was not required but was calculated using general principles. And as an unexpected bonus, the small silicone earcups come in a wider range of sizes than the returned earbuds and neckband. Much better fit. I'm so glad I didn't give up because the viewing experience is so much better now. Everyone can adjust their volume to their own taste (and hearing ability) rather than using speakers at a volume that's right for everyone. If your audio device broadcasts Bluetooth I would recommend these, especially considering their price. I can't comment on these features as I haven't used them and have no intention of using them.) Update: They've had them for about 6 weeks and everything said in the original review above is still true. I still recommend her and I think she's great.
