I was impressed with the quality of the backpack bag when it arrived. The zippers work well and the stitching holding the shoulder straps feels very strong. I've been using backpack bags for at least 30 years. The attachment of the shoulder straps is one of the main potential weak points in my experience, but this bag seems to have addressed some of those shortcomings. I wanted something the size of a purse rather than a backpack, with extra capacity without having to pack large items like laptops. The only downside is that the side pockets are too narrow for a small reusable water bottle, so I would have to use a hard reusable bottle (better for the environment anyway).
