So it has extremely soft, flexible bristles, as if they don't "scrub" or "flake" at all. Less "scraper" feeling than with your own fingers. So if you're looking for an extremely gentle, flexible stick that goes all the way down your back, then this is it. I just wish the bristles didn't look like cooked spaghetti in person. The stick is of good length, stays clean and reaches the back well.
