The only thing I really like about this product is that it offers some protection to my iPod as the iPod is VERY small. That's why it's always on my iPod, and I love its bright color that makes it easy to find in my purse. However, I have an adapter that I use for charging. Most adapters place the plug right in the middle. You have to remove the case for this, as the hole in the silicone is too deep and the case for the adapter should be almost flush. If you use the original charger, this is not a problem. This is technically an issue with the adapter and not the product, but this also applies to headphones. I have an L-shaped headphone jack, not a straight one, and I'm having a hard time getting it all the way into the iPod's headphone jack with this case. The beveled holes just weren't necessary, and it would be better if they fitted snugly to the bottom of the iPod. Now we come to the holster. I've never used a barrel holster because I don't put my iPod in it. Why? Well when I first received the product I put everything together but then I had to charge my iPod. I quickly figured out the above issues and tried to take the iPod out of the case. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. There is nothing to pull the iPod out of the case. I practically had to take it out so I never tried to use it again as I had to take the iPod out to charge. If you have the original charger, the hole in the holster works fine, but if you have an adapter or an L-shaped headphone jack, the holster just adds another layer and makes it much more difficult to connect. If you have the original charger and use direct plug headphones and never want to take your iPod out of its case (e.g. to set an alarm clock or speaker stand) then this is for you. Otherwise I would consider another product.
