The best technical support I've ever had!

I've never heard of these guys but I took a chance because the Dell docking station was quite a bit more expensive. I had an issue where when I connected a USB-C cable to my Dell laptop, the dock didn't work until after I restarted the laptop. So it worked, but there was no "hot swap". I thought it might be a Windows or Dell issue but it might be a plug-in issue so I emailed support. Within 10 minutes I received a response - a very smart response that asked me specific questions and suggested a process I could use to help identify the problem. I did what they asked, provided them with the data they needed to verify the problem, and then in about 15 minutes they had a solution and even more troubleshooting options if that didn't work. Well it worked and I am 100% happy with this product. The solution was to use a standard USB cable instead of a Lightning cable. Possible problem with the Dell driver on the Lightning port. I just want this company to sell other products that I use. Seriously - Pat from Plugable made a difference and made it easy with such quick and intelligent answers. Thanks very much!
