They are good as they are. I bought these knowing how flimsy and cheap they are after reading other reviews. Comfortable plus size shorts are hard to find, especially with leggings and bodycons dominating the market, so I couldn't get past them. They are really very comfortable! They are a bit big. I bought 3x as I usually wear size 24 jeans and they have a little more room than I expected. I think that after washing they will sit and lie down as they should. I plan to wash them on the gentle cycle after seeing reviews that washing ruined them.
