Review on πŸ‘Ÿ MOHEM Women's Lightweight Slippers: Comfortable Gray43 Athletic Shoes for Women by Natasha Boulden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've tried them climbing and they're way better than FF

I need something SUPER light and breathable. I'm a fan of five-finger shoes, but the tread isn't aggressive enough and your toes are heavily exposed on rough terrain, and I found the FF slippery on rocks. I just can't afford to twist my ankle while I'm "there". These Mohens have an extremely aggressive profile and remain a bit sticky on slippery surfaces even when wet. They simply will NOT slide in. I've tried them on rocky hikes and they're way better than the FF. This very light shoe has a very flexible sole and gives me a better grip on rocks than the hard soles of my hiking boots. The soles are very flexible and can bend almost 180 degrees. Such a great "road feel" but the downside is they aren't like my Nike Airs, you will feel the road and they don't have the stability of tight laced high ankle hikers. For what I need, hiking semi-trails and touring the usual tourist spots, with a rubber toe guard and a highly breathable upper, I think you can't beat this. These are not water shoes but the insoles come out and the upper has a mesh construction so it dries very quickly. The laces are elastic laces secured with a plastic tab so you can slip them on and off in the TSA or tighten them while running. I have very flat arches and these shoes have minimal arch support, but my solution is to replace the insoles with custom ones that I bought (which I do with all other "hiking" shoes I have) . works for me As with anything else, you need the right "tool" for the job - so keep your needs in mind. I'm a very light traveler, I never check in my luggage but I always have it on my feet or in my backpack. I left my FF and hiking boots at home. I plan to buy a second pair.
