I work over 40 hours a week so my keyboard and mouse work great and make my job more enjoyable. When typing, it often doubles on the key when pressed. So when I press 'e' it returns two or three 'e's at the same time. Also, the mouse stops working after about 10-15 minutes if not in use, so you have to toggle the power button to get it working again. Finally, the keyboard is more compact than a regular keyboard, so I often hit the wrong key (e.g. the back and delete keys are very close to each other). The last comment has more to do with the learning curve than a downside.
