Great light, white stripe, poor adhesion

I give this LED strip 5 stars because the bulbs themselves are amazing. I've used them to illuminate the perimeter of a vanity mirror and they look so good when used that way. White, bright and clear as day. The dimmability is also great. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when working with this product. My mirror has a black frame. I've seen mixed reviews and photos about whether the back stripe will be white or black. I decided to take a chance. Well I lost because the streak I got in early May was white. Having said that, I have to say that I was surprised at how subtle the white bar actually looked on my black mirror, so much so that it doesn't bother me anymore. Second, the tape on the back of the light strip sucks. When I glued the strip for the first time, it seemed to me that it glued well. But pretty soon the strip started lifting at the corners as you probably shouldn't bend the strip 90 degrees meaning those corners aren't glued completely flat. As the corners climbed, nearby straights soon followed. I fixed it by buying these flat wire terminal holders https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R1GYK3P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which worked very well for me. Not a single bar of light touches the mirror anymore because it extends from clip to clip and has some depth at the bottom of the clips. But since the clips are still fairly flat, it still looks clean as if the strip was glued straight on. The edges of my mirror came off with it. This was very annoying as the glue wasn't strong enough to attach the strip to the mirror but was somehow strong enough to peel off part of the top layer. It's good that the edge of the mirror is black, so using Sharpie strategically helped cover up the damage. But I recommend being cautious and cautious if you ever need to remove the strip.
