Fog reflection - yes I removed the cover

Despite the mixed reviews I was reluctant to buy this. As others have pointed out, there was a protective film on the mirror. (Actually, the protective film was VERY obvious, so I don't think anyone else claiming the mirror was fogged up forgot to take it off, as some have suggested.) Anyhow, I removed the protective film and the reflection fogged up . . . I would compare it more to those allergy drug ads where part of the TV screen has a "crystal clear picture" and part of the screen has fog over it. Well, this mirror gives a blurred reflection. Also, I bought it to use on my metal walls at work, so I turned the mirror over to attach some stick magnets to it. When I turned it over I was surprised to see that it already had a few scratches on it! I turned it over on my shiny wooden table - nothing sharp. So be careful, the mirror is VERY prone to scratches. In general I don't like it. Low quality. However, I will keep it on my wall until I find a better one.

Pros
  • Safety mirror
Cons
  • Crumpled
