This product as shown by 3 stars is fine. Seems a little better than nothing driving east in the morning sun. The rest of the time everything kind of fogs up (yes, the packaging film was removed). Ironically (for me) as soon as I drive into a shaded area the haze clears and visibility clears. Mine came with a scratch. I could return it for a replacement; However, the scratch is not in my field of vision. That's why I didn't downgrade my star rating. At the very least, I think it will work to keep the bright Florida sun out of the driver's window, so I'll leave it at that. It fits snugly and securely on my visor (CMax Energi - known for their tiny visors). It feels solid and easily adjustable. I chose this brand because it has the best reviews. I really can't imagine what the rest is.
