I work hard when it comes to using carbon paper. I have dark black but I would like other colors. This set is perfect. WHAT IS IT FOR? The different colors of the included transfer paper allow me to use dark or light transfers. Light is great when I don't want wood or paint to show and blend with dark lines. Ballpoint pen tips are ideal for pressing motifs into wood or surfaces. HOW IT WORKS? So far this has worked very well. I love it. Using lighter colors takes some getting used to, but it works. You have to take your time. RAISE IT? I can pick up some of the darkness using sticky things you stick on pictures (also used to pick up art) which is good. BOTTOM LINE This set is perfect for wood burning or mandala making. It's easy to use and the variety of colors gives me flexibility. MY FIVE STAR PRIZE. I really like this set and I think it's worth the investment.
