This hemp is different from the usual hemp balls sold in craft stores. It's the same thickness throughout because it's wrapped like knitted thread and is soft and not itchy like some of the hemp balls I've collected in the past. I've been looking for this material since I bought this company's multicolored packaging in store five below. I love this hemp more than traditional hemp because the thickness is consistent and because it holds its shape well when you're doing things like alternating knots, Josephine knots, and herringbone knots. The price is better on other craft sites but they only sell them online which pretty much offsets the cost when you factor in shipping. I didn't go through Amazon Prime but Supermart because they are cheaper and it took me 10 days to get here.
