Not strong, bungee cord is separate, non-locking
Trekking Mont Blanc Day 2 first set broke, day 3 second set broke same way, cord detached from distal segment causing the whole thing pole fall apart. It happened in the middle of the day, I ordered both pairs, this photo is just before a 2 hour descent from the mountain. My knees are very unhappy!
