I usually wear XL-1X in stretch pants, sweatpants etc. For example I have a pair of L yoga pants and a pair of lounge pants that are 2X but for most I'm in XL-1X range. I'm 5'5" with longer legs and a shorter waist. I would also say that I have a slightly bigger butt at the moment. The hips seem huge. Also, my calves and ankles are small. So the effect of a baggy Waist, narrow thigh, embarrassingly baggy below the knee.It's baggy all over, isn't it?The waist is large, the legs are tight (not tight, just not loose), there is little room in the butt, and the calves and ankles look full ridiculously large. The ankle hole would fit 5 of my ankles. The pants run 1-2 sizes smaller I reckon. The waist has a lot of stretch but overall I wouldn't say it's a very stretchy fabric. If you like the draping Want effect on the picture, order at least one size up If you're between sizes, choose 2 sizes up If you're usually 3X these pants may not be for you, but try them it out! With these pants, it's all about the figure. The fabric is already rolling and I've worn them 3 times already. Still, I find them comfortable and warm. I wore them under my coat in the freezing cold Chicago weather and they worked better than my jeans. I like them too. I didn't tumble dry them. Wash with cold water and air dry. So far there has been no significant reduction.
