If your baby has fat legs, then that's good! There is a lot of space in the toe area, so nothing pinches. My grandson is almost 10 months old and I ordered size 12-18 months because he is a bit chunky. He also has a pair of 9-12 month old Robeez's and the elastic that holds them was too tight leaving marks on the toes of his feet. I first looked for Robeez but they were $10 cheaper so I decided to give them a try. He grows so fast that he doesn't wear anything for a long time. They stayed on his feet and he was already trying to pull them off. I am very happy with them. The only drawback is the strong leather smell. I hope this will be over soon.
