When I received the LG Nano IPS 38 inch curved monitor, I was advised to only use the supplier's cable. The cable was only 4 feet long. old cable but buggy so i opted for the 4 inch cable which didn't give me enough length for a comfortable connection but worked fine. Note: For the money I paid for this monitor, it's a shame to provide such a short cable. So I was a little nervous about buying it, but to my surprise, it worked great and gave me an extra 2 feet. Make sure your GPU supports higher speeds.
