Without details about the length of these (or showing them on a model), I wasn't sure if they were going to work for me, but since I was drawn to the style, I thought I'd give them a try. I like them!These have a nice stretch and are comfortable. The waist is large (even a little too large, actually), but that means they are not restricting and don't push my mid-section pudge around, which is rare and great. :)I don't like it when shorts are too short and show too much thigh, but I don't like long shorts that make me feel dumpy (yes, I'm kind of picky). These are the perfect length for catering to both preferences.The purposely worn-looking areas are stable and should stay that way for at least a while - a patch will be cute when they give too much and start revealing too much leg.
