I bought this monitor to connect to a 4 port HDMI KVM switch that also connects computer audio over HDMI. Using internal speakers wasn't acceptable so I connected powered speakers to the headphone jack and it worked. As for video, the quality is good, except there's a gap of about 1/2 inch between the display and the bezel, meaning the portion of the screen that's being viewed is about an inch smaller than the physical screen, almost the same as the display became designed for the case with a larger bezel, the size of the bezel has been reduced. For the price I would say it was a good deal for use in my computer lab.
