Review on πŸ’§ Nathan 2.0L Replacement Bladder for Hydration Vests and Packs - Leak Proof, BPA Free! by Casey Oliver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect replacement for the men's Nathan Vapor Air Hydration Vest.

⁃ I bought this tank to replace the previous one I used in the Nathan Vapor Air men's vest. (Size L/XL) ⁃ Fits in the back pocket of the Nathan Vapor Air Vest. ⁃ Unfortunately, the Vapor Air does not come with a magnetic hose magnet that connects the hose's bite valve to the vest itself. I went to Nathan's website, spoke to a rep, and the rep sent me a free magnet along with some tubing. Thank you Nathan for supporting your products. ⁃ It comes with calibrations and has a maximum fill line that you cannot fill past. ⁃ The clip that secures the hydration bladder works well and is air/water tight. There are no top leaks. ⁃ Rinse the reservoir with a solution of vinegar and warm water the first time you use it and each time immediately after use. Hang to dry as I've seen people complain about mold on old drinking chambers that weren't properly ventilated. If using colored fitness fluids such as Gatorade, Hydration Solutions, clean and rinse immediately after running/use as the pouch will discolour/take on the color of the drink/solution. ⁃ I've used it on 2 full marathons and 3 long training runs and it's worked well. I hope this lasts long. ⁃ The bite valve works great. After using another bite valve from another hydrator that leaked after a few uses, I appreciated how easy Nathan's bite valve was to use. You don't need to swirl it regularly to get the right amount of liquid. ⁃ It has a quick connect hose that "feels nice" when you connect or disconnect the hose/hose from your bladder. ⁃ Since I wash and rinse the contents after each use, I can use different liquids and not try them after switching between runs on different days. The taste does not remain like with many plastic items. (But you must wash and rinse it first.)
