Ritec/Ridata's recent mass production issues (several resellers encountered bad production batches, I thought I found a wd seller with good stock but they ended up with some bad quality batches) so let's try that. Yes the brownie boxes arrived crumpled as others have reported but so far the only bad drive has been the bottom of the box (delivery?) 100% good so far (8 burnt ones pulled out accidentally so far) and I'm checking both bit by bit . Bit and full disk check after any Ridata issues (I previously recorded >4000 B-DL with <1% failure rate). Thumbs up, I will update this review if I run into any problems in the future. 2/3 burned out, no more coasters. I will buy another cake box, I hope it will be good too.
