I have two havanese dogs. I love this thing. Originally it was for the new puppy who was too small to walk very far to ride in while I walked my older dog. The puppy hated being put in this, he would howl the whole time to get out. I thought, great I wasted almost $200. However, turns out my older dog loves going in this thing! We have used it for a walks a couple times- he just sits and looks out, I don't even need to shut it.But the real use I have for this? Letting my older dog lay in it next to my desk while I work from home! Or watch tv, or do anything where he wants a nap and isn't happy about a playful little puppy brother running around to bug him. This is perfect, I put him in with his blanket and he cuddles up and goes to sleep, and no longer has to chase that "other" little dog away, or bite at him or try to attack him (they are friends 90% of the time, but that 10% when he's fed up with the little guy can look quite scary).It's been three perfect solution and I'm so much less stressed not having to monitor for a possible fight every second of my workday. When my older dog wants to get out he lets me know, and then he plays with his puppy friend for a while before asking to go back in.This thing is also excellent quality, sturdy and easy to maneuver.
