Review on 🌟 Cooler Master MasterBox Pro 5 ARGB ATX Mid-Tower with Adaptable Layout, Supports 10.5" E-ATX, ARGB Lighting, 3x 120mm ARGB Fans, Tempered Glass, DarkMirror Front Panel by Trey Angus

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice case with ARGB and worth $60!

This is the best $60 MicroATX case on the market. Comes with 2 ARGB fans for this price. I have a net but they have tempered glass. Both cases have a tempered glass side panel. Pros: 1. 2 ARGB fans included. There is also room for up to 6 120mm fans. 3 front 2 top and 1 rear.2. Enough space for an SSD and 2x 3.5 hard drives. The cage can also be removed. They only include 2 SSD brackets, which some might call a downside.3. Cable management is good and they include cable ties.4. Plenty of space for a large graphics card.5. Solid, quality construction and I've never cut myself on anything sharp lol. Cons: 1. Not a fan of installing SSD as I was confused how it works.2. No rubber pads but for $60 I can see why.3. After installing the graphics card, there is very little room to breathe. Why are there 2 places under the graphics card to install SSD? I have no idea how this will make the graphics card work harder for airflow.4. The dust filter under the PSU is detachable but more difficult to remove as it is not on the side. The top air filter is magnetic, why could they make the bottom one the same, I can't.5. The hardened side panel sits flush with the case, but be careful when removing it. Nothing holds it in place after you remove the screws and it falls. Be careful! Tempered glass can shatter if you drop it on a corner. I really like this case as I think it's a good case for what you get for the price. I would like the next version of Cooler Master to make the bottom dust filter either on the side in or out, or make it like the top one with magnets. Cheaper version without ARGB fan. Can be done in white. Options would be nice, like rubber bushings.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Overall OK, but...
