This is a nice little emergency radio. The build quality seems solid. FM reception is okay, WX (Weather Band) reception is excellent. I like the WX alarm function. You can get urgent weather alerts without having to listen to them all the time. The sound quality is there. good enough. You won't rock the party with this, but it's fine for quiet camping. I would say it sounds like a decent smartphone speaker. The built-in flashlight is pretty bright for its size, but I think the flashlight is more convenient because you can choose the brightness and color temperature. Warmer (yellow) light attracts fewer insects. I didn't have a chance to test the solar charge. Given the panel's size, I suspect it's slow but serviceable. The same applies to the crankshaft of the generator. You probably won't use them as your primary charging method, but they're welcome as an emergency radio/light. A USB-C charging port is welcome, and there's even a USB output for charging other devices. You can also use AAA batteries to power the radio/lights (but not other devices). Again, the options are good. The SOS function is loud enough to attract attention. All in all, this is a cute little radio that will live in my little RV. I like to travel to places where cell service isn't available, and a WX band radio provides peace of mind when the storm clouds gather (and maybe some entertainment when the skies are clear).
