I am a very picky shopper. I read reviews and focus on both the positive and negative feedback a product receives. I like to provide credible reviews when reviewing a product to help others make the most informed decision. If you are looking for a good duvet this could be the one for you. Personally, this is my favorite bedding. It was definitely worth the money. The surface is smooth and shiny like satin. The material is so soft you'll want to stay on top by simply rubbing the skin on a smooth surface. The underside is reminiscent of a wool carpet. It looks weird but adds extra layers making it heavy and dense. It will definitely keep you warm. Be aware that wool, like undercoat, leaves lint on many fabrics (like carpets). My set was black, which also appears to be a lint magnet. However, thanks to the high quality of the fibers, the surface is easy to clean. You can simply brush the lint off the ceiling with your hand. I haven't washed it yet so I can't say how it will hold up after washing. My only real issue is that it only offers 2 pillow pads and doesn't sell any additional pads. Who only has 2 pillows on a large double bed? Also, I highly recommend this set. You get what you pay for and it's worth it.
