What The first thing that attracted me to this printer was its compact size. I would describe it as an easy to use, user friendly printer/scanner. If, like me, you don't do a lot of printing and scanning, but still want to have a machine on hand when needed, this will work very well. In terms of appearance, the design is clean and even pleasing to the eye. The power supply is integrated inside, so there is no bulky power supply hanging from the power cord cluttering the floor. There's also a wired USB option if you don't want to use a wireless connection. Unlike other multifunction printers, the scanner uses a feeder mechanism instead of a flatbed. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but it scans or copies with good quality. It accepts documents of various sizes from full size 8.5 x 11 inches to small sheets like receipts or photos. Since rollers are used to pull the document, I would be cautious when working with brittle or fragile paper such as B. old family photos. The print speed is about "medium". Color takes about 10 to 20 seconds at normal settings on plain paper, and black and white takes about half that time. Normal black and white text documents print quickly. Higher quality and color photo settings are the slowest. I would recommend a better printer if you're looking for faster, more frequent photo printing. The ink cartridges are small, so this is definitely not a high-capacity printer. As I said before, if you type infrequently from time to time, this will do. If you're really worried about needing more ink, HP offers high-yield ink cartridges. The WiFi connection works flawlessly and is easy to set up. I have found that printing directly from my iPhone is SLOW. A standard print took almost 3 minutes even in black and white. I never normally type from my phone, but it's nice to be able to.
