This product was exactly what I needed. I have a somewhat unique use case and this does the work for me. I have a portable table (from a container store) that hydraulically changes from table height for sitting to table height for standing. I try to transition to simply standing while I work. The problem was that when using the laptop while standing, I still had to look at the screen all day, which was uncomfortable for my neck. I wasn't sure if VIVO's standard mounting height would be high enough, so I ordered a VIVO laptop and LCD monitor stand. It's too long if you use it like I do but it's designed so you can stand when it's placed on a seat-height table, which it would be ideal for. With it, you can adjust the height of your monitor and laptop to any desired height for the perfect viewing angle. I think you can always cut the top of the bar down to the right height if you use it like I did. I am currently using it with my laptop as the only screen and setting it at eye level. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse on a desktop surface, so the ergonomics are perfect. I haven't installed the second monitor mount yet because I haven't decided which monitor I want yet. My setup needs something really light and right now the setup I only use with a laptop works terrific. Also keep in mind that all parts of this thing are fairly modular. I installed the laptop stand on top of the monitor arm because I didn't need the extra length of the laptop arm. You can also shorten the laptop mount (remove the connection) if you want two arms of the same length. This way you have some flexibility during the installation. You can customize it a bit to suit your needs. One thing I forgot to mention is that even in my rig, which is unique in that I mount it on a portable and lightweight construction, this thing is still extremely durable. It fits tight and doesn't shed a drop. Overall this is a great product that offers some flexibility to accommodate all your specific needs, and I highly recommend it.
