GREAT LITTLE CAMERA!

GREAT LITTLE CAMERA! The lens is sharp, focus is fast and accurate. The optical viewfinder is AWESOME when you're working in situations where the LCD screen is hard to see. I've had a few other leads and shoots with screens in front of them that made the shoot almost a guess as so often you couldn't see the screen, even with the hood open. However, I almost never look at the screen as the viewfinder works so well that it scales directly with the LCD image. The only time the viewfinder won't work is close-ups within a few feet or so, as it's not through the lens but a 'tunnel' viewfinder, meaning the view will work with the lens, but the view is through the viewfinder. Tunnel. Thus, a parallax error occurs at very short distances. So when I'm shooting up close, I just use the screen again. This camera is also very small, easily fitting in a jacket pocket, pants pocket, even some shirt pockets. It also uses AA batteries instead of what needs to be charged. Of course, if you want you can buy rechargeable AA and a charger, but if you get caught somewhere you can use regular AA. Lithium batteries are preferred with AA batteries, but alkaline batteries are also fine. When using AA alkaline batteries, especially with the flash, battery life may be slightly shorter. It accepts SD cards, so there are no problems with storing it on it. You can vary the file size (MP), I prefer to keep it at 16 MP and I have 20x30 inch prints on my wall that are pretty sharp at that level. The video is enough, as is the sound, to aim and shoot. In terms of video and audio, keep in mind that this is a tiny point and shoot camera and shouldn't be compared to DSLRs that cost 5-10 times more and are also bigger and heavier. For a camera, I don't think you could do better with Point and Shoot!
