These sheared sides make a cross thread almost certain, then the nut will snap! I couldn't identify the thread and couldn't find a replacement for the nut (5/8-28?). Also, you only get one nut, meaning you can't adjust the depth of the socket in the panel. If used like this, the end will stick out a lot from your panel. I'm going to use hot glue on the inside instead of the nut to make it "flush". I bought two. Both have the same problem.
