Not good in the fog: headlights and lighting accessories
First of all, these lights put out a lot of light. If that's all you need, then they're for you. On the other hand, if you want a real fog light and not a headlight, you might want something different. The first morning I used them on the way to work I was struck by how bright the tree tops were on the way in. In case of fog, it is better to turn them off. I'm sure it will be the same in heavy snowfall. And yes, I've resized them to no avail.
