Review on Duck HP260 Packing Refill - Convenient 1067839 Option for Efficient Packaging by Stephen Cernatescu

I buy almost everything at Revain, so I have to recycle tons of boxes every week. I wanted to buy a good packing tape with a very strong adhesive strength. I bought this Duck HP260 tape because it's 3.1 mils thick, which is a lot compared to other tapes, but I've learned that thickness doesn't mean better adhesion. WHAT I LIKE: [+] The tape is very thick and crystal clear. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] Adhesion is terrible. The tape lifts easily with any resistance or movement on the package[-] Because of its thickness, each tape is only 60 yards long, which is completed in half the time of other similar packaging tapes[-] It's expensive. I don't mind paying a higher price for better quality, but if adhesion is poor then this tape won't do the trick. RESULT: 2 out of 5 stars. For me it was a waste of money as they weren't strong enough to seal boxes. I ended up buying cheaper tapes with better adhesion and much longer rolls. I guess you can call this tape heavy duty as it's very thick, but what's the use if it doesn't have good adhesion? Price so I would not recommend this tape.
