I am writing this review after owning these mattress pads for a year. Yes I said it! I bought a second one almost immediately. The reason for the original purchase was that my aging dachshund had bladder problems. Call me soft but I couldn't bring myself to throw him out of our bed at the end of his life. This dog breed has a "need" to sleep with their owner, it's much more than just a strong "want". At the same time, I have a $10,000 Tempur-Pedic mattress on my bed that I didn't want to spoil with pet urine. The last thing I wasted was an uncomfortable, crunchy, noisy plastic mattress topper, but I was desperate. Guess what?!? It's none of that! It's like magic, honestly! It keeps the mattress 100% dry yet is soft and comfortable and it's hard to believe it's completely waterproof! This mattress topper exceeded my expectations! Not only did I just buy a second one last year, I'm on the verge of buying another pair for my adult daughter's bed as well as one for my elderly father. He will soon be 90 and is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We can also be ready right away and get that mattress topper. I think it's wise to have it on all the beds in your house. It's soft and thick and Eva is a joy to look at if your guests are nice and love taking the sheets off for you when they leave your house. This is a great purchase!
