Advantages:1. Nice warm white colour. The light is brighter than a standard 7 watt bulb at one tenth the energy!3. Works well with auto on/off night lights. Cons: 1. Not yet. We have several automatically on/off night lights throughout the house that use regular 7 watt bulbs that seem to run about every 4 months or so, which is the 3000 hours listed on the packaging for standard bulbs. I was tired of changing those lightbulbs so I decided to try these LED bulbs which have a lifespan of 25,000 hours. For me this means that each bulb should theoretically last almost 3 years instead of 4 months. So far the bulb is working great! The light is a bit brighter than the 7 watt incandescent it replaced and I'm very happy with it as I'm now getting more light at 10% power and can better illuminate various dark hallways and corners of the room. A house. The light is nice and warm white, albeit a bit whiter than a traditional incandescent bulb. The lamp is also cooler (temperature wise) which is always a plus. I'm glad I made the switch and if these bulbs burn out I'll definitely be buying more. I will never go back to lightbulbs again.
