In my opinion, the size is not suitable for babies.
The cap says it's for a baby and some of the reviews said it was the same. It fits my average adult head. My 5 year old wears it well but it's too big for my 2 year old. This is a well made hat with an adjustable back strap so we're sure it will work. I've also personalized ours with a locally embroidered monogram. They are very sweet!
