Protects my knees - protective pads

I garden and mostly live in the desert where all the sticky thorns hurt. I get them all in my knees, which hurts. With these knee pads, they get stuck in the pads but don't reach my skin and knees. This is a life saver. They're easy to slip on over jeans and don't bother me.
