I usually hang my skis on the wall in my garage, but when I moved to a new house I was looking for a way to save space. I hung the top rack and planned to use the included hangers, but they weren't long enough for wider skis and expensive ($5+) per hook. I decided to try velcro and carabiner. I bought 2 types of velcro, one set has the typical collar and this one uses a D ring. I eventually gave up this style because it's easier to clip and unclip the carabiners and as a bonus I can leave them strapped to my skis until I get to the mountain since I don't use a ski carrier. The quality is good, they are exactly what I was hoping for. I have ordered more for the garage. I've only had them for a few days but I'm very happy with this product.
