Review on Grout Brush Long Handle Scrubber by Kristina Scott

Wow, my grout was dirty!

When we chose the color of the grout for the hallway tiles, we chose a color close to the color of dirt. because that's what people do who don't like cleaning joints. :-) So not cleaned for 5 years.Of course I wash the tiles with a mop but I never walked on the floor and didn't scrub the grout. This tool makes it a lot easier than bending over and brushing, so I thought I'd give it a try. I just mopped yesterday, so I sprayed some kind of all-purpose cleaner just on the grout and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then he began to clean the joints with this tool. After cleaning, I wiped the tile with clean water to remove the dirty water and my goodness it was dirty! Little did I know all this dirt was left between the tiles - the water after washing the floors was brown. I think in the future I'll just wipe the tile down with a damp mop and leave it damp, then clean the grout and then wipe off the excess water. This should keep the tiles and grout clean. There are a few tweaks that can be made to make this brush more versatile. For example, it would be great to somehow attach this V-shaped brush to a flat brush that could also clean the flat part of the tile. I also found that brushing left to right under something (like a bench or sink) was difficult because the brush head didn't rotate in all 4 directions and was therefore at an angle that didn't hit the grout. And I couldn't rub perpendicular to the wall, but I'm not sure how to solve that. You may still need to get out your old toothbrush to apply the final coat of grout right next to the wall.

Pros
  • ✔️ Sturdy scrubbing brushes with a long handle: The durable long handle offers a perfect grip so that you can use enough force when scrubbing. Unlike the competition, the long handle does not break.
Cons
