Update: I had the cover ready to be sent back and decided to try changing it instead. As a result, I cut out the inner part (raised area) that was interfering with the fingerprint scanner. Then put on new anti-slip strips and it will be much better. Doesn't affect the stability of the lid so I can now scan fingerprints without my index finger being vertically aligned. Pros - Nice case, no fingerprints etc. Cons - Fingerprint notch not the best. I sometimes have trouble reading my fingerprint. You definitely need to hold the index finger straight up and down for it to recognize it. Even with adhesive strips, the lid slips off a bit at the end. Will i buy it again? Probably no.
