Review on Catit Scratcher with Organic Catnip by Jairah Brown

This review is for a large scratching post. I recently bought three of these. I am very happy with the purchase and will no doubt be ordering more soon. They are large enough for an adult cat to sit on. I have a couple of these scratching posts in my dining room windows (windows reach to the floor) and several cats (I have five) enjoy sitting on them and looking out the window most of the day. The scratches are also large enough that even on a relatively smooth floor (my dining room has hardwood floors) a large cat (over 12 pounds) scratching one of them won't cause it to move across the floor. I also put one on top of the rug and cats love to sit there (and scratch it) too. They come with a small bag of catnip and I think it's good catnip. Anyway, the cats seem encouraged. It takes a few nasty scratches to damage them and you can always just flip the liner over for a fresh finish so they'll last quite a while. (You can also add your own catnip to refresh it from time to time.) Also, and most importantly, their presence keeps my cats from scratching the upstairs carpet or the expensive dining room rug. After all, my cats are happy and I am happy, so it was a definite win!
