Unfortunately I had to remove the plastic engine compartment floor to fit these bulbs so it was more of a pain for me than most people - apart from what it became removed and reattached - the rest of the installation process for these lamps was fairly painless. I'm just sorry I didn't have the common sense to test new bulbs before putting everything in. back together because to be honest I just didn't have the guts to go through it all again or else I would have tried to get her back. Color - I'm honestly not entirely sure if they are any brighter than the stock colors. The beam is utterly useless as a fog light and barely extends far enough to be used for parking. Not sure if I got a lousy pair or if the base didn't live up to my expectations, but I'm not impressed or satisfied.
