I ordered an organizer with 10-pocket width. I wear women's shoes in size 6-6 ½. My shoes fit perfectly side by side bottom to bottom. Ankle-high shoes are placed in each compartment on the sides. The sides of each compartment are made of thin canvas and the bottom is made of thick transparent plastic. Metal brackets work well. This product is made in China. I sent the first one back because one side of the top tray was longer than the other causing the whole thing to hang askew. Some of the spare bays are also disabled, with the bottom one being the worst. You can see it visually. But it doesn't hang as crooked as the first one. The unevenness worries me, but I'll probably keep it because I like it otherwise.
