I hand wash ALL my high quality hosiery (socks) in "green soap" which contains lavender based detergent (lavender oil is a natural antibacterial agent) formulated for underwear and hosiery. Cosco Green Soap works very well on socks and disinfects them. FIRST TIME I bought these BRAND Comp-X socks with added copper! Wow! Good quality. Comfortable to wear, they are BETTER quality than I expected. Comfortable and do their job. Foot comfort and health should be of paramount importance to everyone and is just as important as good circulation - it is linked to overall health. When your feet hurt, it can ruin your day. They have copper elements and help eliminate foot odor. They work! They wash well and dry quickly. Note: Use LOW heat if you need to tumble dry them! I HANG mine out to dry. They wear better and last longer. GOOD VALUE FOR PRICE! No regret! Worth a few dollars more. A good product.
