I have tried various other food preservers over the years and they have been good, worked well. These containers are my favorites. I bought strawberries and you may know how hard it is to keep them fresh in the fridge. I did not wash them, just poured them into the container as directed. And I've been waiting After 7 days they still looked like they did in the store. 10 days is still good. Still good at 12 days. They darkened a bit after 14 days but no mould, no soft spots, still great and felt good serving them to guests. I have the same experience with sliced mushrooms, they still look the way they are. 10 days in store. The same goes for yellow peppers. Broccoli. Zucchini. ripe mango. I'll take a few more. You will pay off in a few weeks. I haven't had to throw away any groceries in the past few weeks and that's important to me given the rise in food prices.
