I lost the lens cap and lens hood on my Fujifilm X-T1 mirrorless during a hike so I decided to buy this set mainly to replace the cap; Thought a little cord would be a nice addition considering my original cap just fell off the lens. When I unpacked the kit and put the lens cap on the camera, I was amazed at its durability. While it was easy to remove, the cap stuck firmly to my lens - I wasn't even sure I would need a lanyard (I still attached it just in case). It's easy to take off if I ever decide it's uncomfortable. I actually only use the lens hood to keep rain off the lens, so the tulip flower hood is too short for my purposes. The JJC hood is perfect in my opinion, except it doesn't sit securely on the lens. On the contrary, both hoods in this set are solid and I trust them a lot more than JJC. Considering that most individual lens caps at Revain cost at least $8, you can get this whole set for just a few extra dollars.
